KY CHAN (CHAN Kai Yin) has worked as a professional illustrator & visual art artist for over 30 years. He has exhibited his work in the form of illustrations, paintings & installations for 10 solo as well as around 30 group exhibitions.

KY has had his illustrations published in ‘i money’, ‘ Buddhist Compassion’ & ‘Ming Pao Weekly’. His clients included Swire, Leo Burnett, Oxford University Press & Emphasis Media, etc. In 2005, he was one of the Hong Kong delegates attended the ICON4 illustration conference in San Francisco. KY has been made the vice-chairman of HKSI in 2006, 2007 & elected as the chairman in 2008, 2009. He became the Honorary Member of the society in 2012. He was also the chairman of organizing committee of the ‘First Greater China Illustration Awards’. He was appointed as the visiting lecturer of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, UOW College Hong Kong/Community College of City University, Birmingham City University, Hong Kong Vocational Training Council for many years.
