Priscilla Yu (BFA, Emily Carr University) is a young multi-disciplinary artist and illustrator based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Driven by wonder and curiosity in the patterns and laws in nature, as well as influenced by textile design, her work often employs geometric forms as a stylistic constraint or law within sharply colourful, whimsical, and patterned worlds. The process and exploration involved in creating her compositions are her entry point into understanding concepts of the Universe and mathematics.
She has been involved in many local projects and shown in galleries such as the Ayden Gallery, Serpens Gallery, The Fall Gallery, and Dynamo in Vancouver. She also currently holds an Associate Membership in the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators, and her most recent illustration clients include Discorder Magazine and OpenMedia.ca among others.
