I chose to reuse the Rabbit Tooth illustration I’d drawn earlier because the story includes a rabbit ????, which ties nicely to Easter, and the theme actually resonates with the artwork.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland explores growing up, identity, and the relativity of reality. The story’s logic frequently upends convention, reflecting the boundless imagination and innocence of childhood.

Love the movie Leon the Professional and try to create Leon and Mathilda in my character Rabbit tooth style. And I have tried to draw in graphic way like my Doggo Fashion brand with Illustrator. After that I developed it to another Hong Kong popular movie that I also love - “Out Of The Dark” in which the characters are imitating Leon and Mathilda. And then turn them in to stickers.

Akira Toriyama’s creative power has brought lots of joy to my childhood! I've come to understand that simple happiness lies in learning to continue creating with persistence, kindness, and hope.
This piece is created in the style of my recent DoggoFashionArt brand, using an illustrator graphic approach to depict the iconic characters—Goku and Arale that created by Toriyama. The design has a strong cartoonish feel, and I added outlines with a white border to imitate the cover designs of Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump manga. The vibrant colors and simple lines create a relatively static image, reflecting my current inner state. While I am not overly excited, the simple joy that Toriyama brought to my childhood quietly grew in my heart.
Even now, I still enjoy watching anime, immersing myself in those fantastical worlds where I can forget the harshness of reality. I hope to carry the persistence and hope like finding the Dragon Balls, creating joyful works with a childlike spirit.

Joey Man
Hong Kong Artist who graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in cinema and television in school of communication. She obtained the Diploma in Creative Cross-Media Illustration & Digital Drawing Techniques, organized by Hong Kong Productivity Council and Hong Kong Society of Illustrators. Become associate member of the Hong Kong Society of illustrators since 2007 , working in graphic design, illustration, and art creation. In 2017, I founded the brand DoggoFashion, designing various cat and dog illustrations and anime-themed products for sale at multiple anime conventions in the United States. Starting in 2023, I began participating in various markets in Hong Kong. Outside of brand creation, I have a passion for all styles of art, design, and crafts. I particularly enjoy drawing female portraits, which can range from cute to quirky, and I love whimsical ideas. My favorite traditional media include watercolor, pencil, charcoal, and oil paint. I also enjoy experimenting with different media for playful creations, drawings, and crafts, such as ink, acrylics, Illustrator, Procreate, fabric, tufting art, and clay. In recent years, my main themes have revolved around female portraits, character design, plants and animals, and culture topic subjects. I am enthusiastic about various creative activities and truly enjoy the joy of creation.
I like to shape characters that appear somewhat childish and weird, now I am working on a character named “Rabbit Tooth,” which I started developing in 2009. In my recent works, I enjoy blending elements from Chinese, Western, and old Hong Kong culture, sometimes incorporating childhood memories. Occasionally, I want to break free from my childishness and create more mature versions of Rabbit Tooth. Most of my artworks are very two-dimensional and disproportionately illustrated from a weird perspective. I also enjoy transforming characters and illustrations into textile and ceramic sculptures.
Rabbit Tooth is my first character with a more complete concept, influenced by Mark Ryden, which inspired me to experiment with a style of POP Surrealism. Rabbit Tooth is a girl with rabbit teeth, inspired by dolphins. As one day I've heard people say that dolphins look adorable and seem happy and kind, but that’s largely due to the physiological structure of their mouths, which gives them a smiling appearance. I believe that prominent teeth can create a similar illusion, appearing quite comical. However, since rabbit teeth seem cuter, I decided to depict her that way. On the surface, she appears to be smiling, but what are her true feelings inside? Is she sad? Hurt? Frustrated or depressed? No matter they are in pain, sad or hurt they are still looking happy even they are dead. The contradictions of these emotions on her face reflect a kind of dark humor. Are we all hiding our true feelings behind a smile each day? If everyone is willing, I encourage you to thoughtfully consider and care about the inner worlds of those around you and yourself , hidden beneath their smiling faces.
